Community Service Opportunities
St. Joseph's Family Center
St. Joseph's is a multi-service program that serves families and individuals in need. Its mission is 'to improve the quality of life through comprehensive services that help establish food security, shelter, gainful employment and other opportunities towards achieving self-sufficiency.'
Girls can help in the following ways:
- Penny drives or cash drives.
- Supply drives and delivery to St. Joseph's of the following items (which are not regularly donated to the pantry, but needed all year round):
- Diapers (all sizes)
- Baby wipes
- Baby formula
- Portable pop top soups, meats (tuna, vienna sausage, etc)
- Fruit
- Food service and/or preparation at Our Lord's Table and/or Wheeler Manor.
DreamPower Horsemanship
DreamPower Horsemanship is a community nonprofit foundation that uses horses to help children, teens and adults with a variety of emotional, mental and behavioral issues.
Girls can help in the following ways:
- Collecting recyclables (cans and plastic only)
- Cleaning stalls
- Clearing rocks from the arena
